I think it's on the inside,

but anyway it's the sticker the people who sold me the car have put right in my line of sight on the rear window...I like to have a full view in my mirror.

So how do I take it off while leaving the window in good condition? I also don't want bits of sticker left on the window looking tatty (the sticker is smart just in the wrong place).

thank you.

A hot day, or warm it with a hairdryer. (Not a hot air gun, you'll break the window)
Get one of these, or similar. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0001IWDBK
Scrape gently, tiny bit at a time, once a corner is lifted, try to peel, very gently to avoid breaking it.
When scraping, avoid touching the window heating elements, or they won't work again.

This will take some time, be patient, have several short goes at it, swear at it, swear at the dealer. Once the sticker is off, you'll probably have glue residue. White spirit will probably clean it, if not Halfords for some Auto Glym tar and adhesive remover.

The longer its on there, the harder it sticks.

The Autoglym tar remover will do the glue nicely without damage, but getting the sticker off first may be a problem.

Options:
1. Return to the dealer and request they remove it. Free! Any damage, they will have to rectify. After all, they probably did not tell you they were to put a sticker on it, unless it was there when you viewed the car. But ask anyway. The salesman will want to keep you happy, you may return for another in a year or two.

2. Like the window sticker, hairdryer, warm as poss, peel very gently from a lower corner, checking it is not bringing the lacquer with it. If you peel from a lower corner, aborting it and leaving it there will look less unsightly than if you'd started at the top.

3. Scrape it off in a fit of temper, then take fuel flap for a respray.
