General How to remove internal lights on 2000 1.9D?

Internal ones, the type where you press one side of the light to turn it on, the other to turn it off. How do you remove them to replace bulb? Or is the whole thing a bulb? And would they sell replacements in somewhere like Halfords?

the whole casing bulls down start on one side and gently lever it down

To replace the bulb in these lights you only need to remove the central lens to access it. Rock the lens to the left or right (as you would to operate the light) and gently ease the lens out at the point where it pivots. this will expose the bulb for removal. Just make sure you put the lens back in the right way when you put it back together. (Contacts need to go back in at the right end) Hope this helps mate!!!
