Hi All

I was trying to programme a key and needed the 5 digit code but have lost it. Tired calling dealer but had no joy yet in getting it.
I believe the 5 digit code is on the side of the ignition barrell, so I went to remove it by taking off underside steering wheel panel, put then saw the lock was encased in plastic. I believe there is a small hole a the top of the lock near metal barrel, does anyone have an image or could explain where exactly this is?

Thanks

Dealers can and do provide the codes FOC. I have them for all my Pandas. Persist or try another dealer dont start stripping bits that may break and cost. If you are known to the dealer they will probably just supply, if ot you may need to show the V5 as proof of ownership.

Pretty sure the 5-digit code is NOT on the barrel. The one on this barrel definitely does not match the code for the car, and it is definitely original.

Hi All
So I found the little catch at the top of the ignition barrel and removed it easily, I saw that there was a 5 digit code printed on it which is what I have been looking for due to not having the card that come with the car and I want to programme a new key etc.
I went to use the code in my diagnostic but it said it was the wrong code. Can anyone advise if their 5 digit code is like mine:
There are 5 digits along the bottom with 2 digits above those.
Something like this below:

3 9
04498
