I used a bit of furniture polish on the glue to get it off. Spray it on and let it soak in then use something like a credit card to get it off.
My car is quiet badly faded and so were my badges so I decided to remove the badges and T-cut the lot, can be too fidely otherwise getting around the badges. After T-cutting I can't really see where the badges were. So even if it is badly faded, you still might get away with it. At worse, you can just glue the badges on again.

Firstly my dear old nan helped me debadge my car. :slayer:
She debadged her Mk1 Golf back in the day.

Secondly all we used was hot water and dental floss, hell of a easy job.
I do think dental floss is the best thing for getting it off and as FOSTAR said, Light rub of petrol on the area gets all the glue off.

Rear badges on a seicento just glue, bonnet badge 1x 10 or 8 mm nut!
