Technical How to clean out the fuel rail?

What's the best way to clean out the fuel rail? I left inserting the new injectors to my father and while doing so he admits he got debri stuck in the pressure regulation pipe(the little one that sticks up on the right) and to get rid of it he poked it with a small screwdriver....into the fuel rail!
What would be the best way to clean this out?

oh no! it gets worse

you should be able to take the pipe off and blow the crap out, then flush the fuel rail out with petrol after removing all the injectors and pipes from it.
you dont want any crap blocking an injector, although the chances of that are small, the crap will almost certainly make its way back to the fuel tank, but i wouldnt take the chance so get it flushed out!

Thanks Jug, pretty much what i figured but thought i ought to ask in case there was an easier way. This is turning into a really long job, annoyingly it would have been finished ages ago if i only had a garage to work in. C'est la vie, i don't think my wife would go for knocking out the french windows and bringing the car into the living room.....no idea why not though lol.
