Hello there, started the wiring for the Sub in my doblo this afternoon. I got the hardest two wires done, the RCA phono and the Remote as there is such limited space behind the Head Unit.

Now I tested the remote lead with a multimeter, fine, but tried to test the RCA's and got nothing! :( Now how do you correctly test the RCA's on a multimeter, do you earth to the body work and test the male prongs with the positive probe? I tried everything, with every different combination of settings on the Head Unit and nothing, but wasn't sure if I was using the probes in the right places so any help on this will be so much appreciated :)

God help me if I have to pull that dash apart again... and that's just to get the CD player to fit... RCA's too was a nightmare!

Cheers for that you've just saved me a sleepless night wondering if I have to take that bloody dash apart again! Just checked it, couldn't turn it up too loud due to the time of the evening (early hours of the morning to the older folk) but got it up from a noticeable 0.02v to 0.45v at about number 12 on the volume (out of about 60 or so) so I'm glad I've seen it go up now :)
