Hi, I hope someone can sort me out on this one please! I just received a new Fiat Ulysse Prestigio (very pleased with it!) :) and I am trying to fathom the intricacies of the techno gadgetry it comes with. I am stumped by the GSM telephone functions. I put in a new SIM card and set up a 'mailbox number' (which I am assuming to be the phone number to which calls should be diverted. All fine. Now I want to cancel call divert because it seems to be only on (divert ALL calls). I can't seem to do anything other than replace the mailbox number with another number. Is there anyone who has manged to get it turned off? Ideally, I would like to set it up so that it only diverts when I am 'busy' or 'unavailable'. Thanks for any help / hints you can offer! Robert

Hi Robert !,
Welcome to the "mad house" StuartDemonD is your man for this I'm sure he'll reply soon, (probably at the local ale house) :p

Me, at the ale house - hmmm, ok, but also snowed at work - 31st January deadlines are looming ;)

I am not at the car atm, but how about putting the SIM into a normal phone, setting up call diverts as you want, then putting SIM back into the RT3 unit? Again, I will need to research this, and maybe regular phone users will come up with the ideal solution.

Btw, welcome to the forum :)

If i'm not mistaken holding in the dial or hangup key on the numeric pad for a few seconds will activate\deactivate the call diverts. The phone system is not as sophisticated as a mobile handset and I have given up on voicemail as the system (unlike a normal handset and unlike the SMS feature on the car) does not alert you when you have a voicemauil waiting so it seems a bit pointless to me.

Lou
