Well my Horns decided to die a death last time I used it I thought it sounded feeble went to hoot my daughter in the car park and nothing. I’ve swapped a good fuse and a good relay (once I managed to find out which damn relay it was) and tried the steering wheel at all different angles/positions and nothing happening at the noise end.
Think I’ve found it’s horrible looking location front right of the engine bay under a vaccum chamber (I’m assuming that’s what it is big metal canister). What’s the best way to access it to remove/replace? Is it accessible by taking off the undertray or is it accessible by removing. The front wheel arch liner? I’m dreading the answer of “it’s accessible by removing the front bumper assembly!
Has anyone fitted a more reliable (louder) horn? Don’t want full on air horns because they can be as problematic (had some back in the 80s).
