i recently purchesed a bravo HGT R reg (98 i think)
12 monthes mot 4 months tax . how much would you have payed????????????????

Depends on the mileage and service history, say 65,000 miles and FSH. £1200

I paid £1000 for my 1.6sx FSH mostly fiat, but did have 90,000 on the clock. Say £1500.

Why are cars more expensive there?

more people in london and cars aplenty

i payed 1700 for this hgt (full leather int/ heated seats/abs /powersteering) is that about right price???

I'd definitely pay that, great price. What sort of service history. Has the cambelt and tensioner been changed yet.

74000 on clock fsh dont know about cambelt -i`ll have to check

thanks ebay

saw it/ went for a view and test drive(i was looking for a 1.4 so me and my misses could share /but that test drive convinced me hgt was for me/and my misses isn`t allowed to touch it)-hehehe

Thank god you didn't get the 1.4. Get the cambelt and tensioner done. The tensioner is the most important thing to get changed if this goes, it destroys the valves leaving you with a bill of upto a couple of grand.

Good buy.

yeah, cause if you believe everything non owners say a 1.4 would blow up if you went over 60! not....

having the 1.4 bravo is not the end of the world. its not the most efficient of the cars, but neither is the HGT, which i might add is an expensive mofo to look after too!

andrew, do you own a 1.4?
