What would be a good price for a 96 N reg, 1.8i HLX Bravo, Genuine 29,500 miles, Full Fiat service history, new cambelt, Mot and Tax till June, Reflex green, tinted windows, Powerflow s/s exhaust with 4" inch tailpipe. Excellent condition except a slight dent in the rear wing from a shopping trolley!

Undecided whether or not to keep the car so just wondered how much I'd be likely to get for it?!

Urhm, pretty low milage, shame about the age.

I'd say 2k max?

Between £1300/£1600 max
How big's the trolley dent??

Re: Re: How much??

About 2", annoying cos its creased, but I've been quoted £50 to get it fixed so its not a problem.

Re: Re: Re: How much??

Yep get it fixed.

I think someone would pick your car up for £1800 no problem (if they dent was removed). You may be lucky and get £2000 for it though beacuse of the low milage.

Re: Re: Re: Re: How much??

The one problem is the low mileage for such and old car.

Its almost as bad as high milage on a newer car. One has been used too much, and the other hasn't been used enough!

I'd still say that with a FSH and if the car really is genuine then you should get about £1750 or atleast £2000 with the dent fixed for a private sale!

Re: Re: Re: Re: How much??

I reckon you'd get atleast £2000 maybe at most £2300.

Get it fixed, slap some nice alloy's on it an then bung a private plate on it and keep it
Only u will know how old it is.
a mate o mine has a bmw 535s on a G plate.
Nice car standard bmw lattice wheel's but he said it's going cause it looks old.Told him what i just told you and that was 3 yr's ago.Still got the same car but with decent wheel's AND a private plate.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: How much??

Not selling it because of the age, I don't see it as old anyway. Hate private plates as well, can't see the point of them!! Just fancy a change, if its gonna be cost effective!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: How much??

Oh and part of the reason for the low mileage is because it was originally owned by Fiat and only covered 10,000 miles in the first few years. The it was owned by the old bloke I bought it off who hardly used it because his wife had trouble getting in it.
