Clutch has gone on my 1.8, got it booked in for next saturday at Mr. Clutch for £203 inc. Vat and fitting. This seems fair to me... but my local STS wants £51 for supplying and fitting a new pair of pads? bit steep aint it? or is it? how much are the pads on their own cos i might give it a bash myself.

Yeah I paid £47 for pads and fitting on my 1.8, shop around but thats about the mark, mine were changed on the service, if you know what your doing try mail ordering the pads,if its easy let me know then i can save on fitting,

it is quite straight forward to change them on the bravo... i am sure others will back me up here, i have done mine myself and i aint know mechanic.

Get a haynes manual if you dont know how to they take it through it step by step.

I have the 1.8i to.
