General how much

Now I am just thinking about this at the mo but...
Due to a new job I dont need to commute in the cinq, so I may revert to original plans and track prep Puug this leaves me with a slight prob with too many cars so may (big may) sell the red cinq /
So whats it worth, following spec:

96 red cinq sporting
39k miles
30k miles 1242 just fitted
new cat
supersprint exhaust
k&n
excellent condition inside and out(credit to previous owner)
sunroof
cd player
load of history
Momo alloys
uprated suspension, strut brace, brakes etc etc

?

'Bout 1500 squid i reckon mate, taking into account that mods unfortunately put alot of people off.... but then it depends where u advertise it; it would fetch a couple of hundred more on here or in the modded section of Autotrader for example, but 1500 in the local rag

I would advertise it here or in mags like Max Power. Theres always someone looking for something different and a 1.2 conversion will certainly catch their eye! I'd say £2200 ono

Unfortunately you're kind of preaching to the converted on this forum. IMO I don't think your going to see much more than £2000 for it unless you are prepared to wait for someone really keen. Mods (as mentioned above) make people think 'boy racer' and run a mile. ON the other hand it is v. low mileage for a Cinq. I'd say advertise it at 2200 or 2300 and reckon on taking any offer of 2000 or above. £2500 is a bit rich even for dealer money! Although I've seen some cheeky gets wanting 2995 for a '98 Cinq.

FWIW I would've given you 2200 for it 3 weeks ago but I've just bought a standard car for a lot less than that. Oh well (sigh).
