Tonight I noticed my car makes a squeaking noise (like a hamster in a wheel), but then when disengaging the clutch, it stops (sounds like a fan stopping after being turned off).
From Googling it looks like a clutch release bearing? Any idea how much this will cost to fix.
My car is also making a knocking noise. I had a similar problem before (more like a rumbling though) and the mechanic replaced the front track end rods (I think) in the front, and it stopped. Could it be the same thing again, or the rear ones?
I've done about 1-2k miles since I had those changed and the car has done less than 30k in total.
The only problem is that to get my house a lot of the roads have speed bumps and cobbled roads. I go slowly over them but I don't know if it's still causing problems
