umm about 4.5L roughly stick just under 4 in then check the dip stick

hmm sump must be bigger than a 1.2 then, thats a bugger i have now to find a way to secure bottom gearbox cover

don't quote me on that though . I think I had about 750ml's left to use as top up oil once it was at the max mark on the dip stick.

2.9 Litres for a completely empty engine with a new, empty oil filter.
2.5 Litres if the oil filter has not been replaced.
Be VERY careful.....the difference between the oil dipstick min and full mark is just under half a litre and so there is a real danger of overfilling the engine.
The oil gets sucked up into some of the pipes where the sensors are and f***s
them up....they then need to be cleaned or replaced.
