Well I've done the full car and its made a massive difference to my system. The base is much deeper and louder. The quality of the system is alot better too.

I did all the 3/4s and boot as well but haven't had chance to upload pictures yet. I may even take the roof lining out and Dynamat that! but that will be a job for after the show season!

The car before

Dynamat

Has it made much difference to the road noise? I might give it a go if it helps with that.

No your filter managed to avoid the Dynamat lol!

FAO: Ph1l

Yeah it made a massive difference to the road noise.
I can hardly hear my exhaust now lol!

Re: FAO: Ph1l

Wow 20 roles, how much did that little lot cost !!!

I have only done the floor of the boot and wheel arches and the boot door. Your right though Rob even that makes a massive difference to the quality.

I think Dynamat extreme the silver stuff retails at about 25 quid a role. Then the Normal black stuff is about £15 per role.

I got a big discount off it all though ,not far off 50% from Ram Audio. So it wasnt that pricey really.

Just doing little bits on there own help but if you do the whole car, Wow! the difference is amazing!

re

hehe, i put 8 rolls of dynamat extreme on my doors and boot lid!

i was gonna try n do floor and roof at somepoint! even just my doors mad e a hell of a differecne!

Dynomat

is the dynomat sticky, iive just used some rubber from work the boot and i've noticed the difference, would like to do th doors now but don't know how to keep it there. did you put the plastic shield back on the door after??

Flash

YOu could use something called Flash Tape which can be bought from any hardware store at a fraction of the price of dynamat / brown bread

Its not even in the same league as dynamat extreme but what ever floats your boat.

A friend of mine used that stuff onj his cav.

AS for the weight dynamat the black stuff isnt too heavy and the silver synamat extreme is very very light.

Re: Dynomat

When you take the wrapper off you stick it on to the bare metal, at this point its not vert sticky, then using a heat gun heat the dynamat up.

once the dynamat is heated up it become very very sticky and will stick to the car.

re

hehe, i didnt have a hot air gun, so used a clothe shorse and a coupl eof electric heaters! lol, still got nice n sticky!!!!
