How much DOT4 do I need?

I'm bleeding my whole brake system and renewing everything...just wondered how much DOT4 fluid I needed to fill up the system? Mine's a 1.8 with ABS incase that matters.

Anything DOT4 will be to the same spec. I actually use halfords.

Isn't there something to do with minerals being in certain DOT4's and fully synthetic ones? This is synthetic I believe. Will 1ltr fill up the system easily?

1ltr will fill it.

DOT4 is the spec for temp range and water absorbtion. As long as they are both DOT4 they will behave the same.

In my owners manual it states for my JTD HLX

0.45 litres of DOT4 for the braking system with ABS.

I'm sure the clutch and brakes are from the same reservoir.
