How low can i go???

hello,

i'm a newbie. bought my bravo 1.4sx on saturday.

got a few questions. Firstly, how low can i drop the car on 16"s before it starts rubbing?

also, i have removed the side badges under side repeaters but was wondering if the badges on the boot had holes behind them???

no the badges on the back have not got holes and on 17s you can get away with 40mm drop so id imagine depending on tyres mabye slightly more on 16s.

excellent. i have 45 profile on them, so do you think i can get away with 60mm drop???

ooh i dunno mate im just about to drop mine 40mm and get some 17s but 60mm you might be able to mate but i dunno.

i dont know, cos its the width u should be worried about, no more than 7" wide, i am running a bravA, 17" 205 40 17's on a 35mm drop, so the wheel plus tyre = 606mm in total, how ever a 16" 195 45 16's is 591.5mm not a lot of difference in it really,

based on that u got 15mm cap more on a 35mm drop so 50mm drop would be my guess at the max, but i dont know i am making calculated guess,

(i know people have brava on 17 lowered 45mm no problem)

according to that seeing as the most you can lower a bravo on 17s is 40mm if you have it 35mm and say he could get away with 50mm from your calculations then he would actually get away with 55m 5mm higher than he wanted.

hmm i dont know i wouldnt like to say, i dont know how good my calculations are.... i might be miles out ill go check at lunch but i couldnt say for sure. also dont know if its true but i heard that normal dampners dont like any ore than a 45mm max drop but i dont know if it is true

sorry not got msn. well i don't wanna fart arse about too much lowerin it, so i might just drop it 40mm.

spent too much on last car so ain't got alot to throw on this one yet.

anyway can get the springs from fast fiat for 105.00. pretty cheap.

waxacar on ebay is selling bravo lowering springs now i think for only £80 or something.
