Technical How hard is it to replace a Dpf pressure pipe?

Hi guys. My first post here. I’ve got a 60 plate 1.3 multi jet Doblo.

I had the DPF taken out and cleaned a few months ago as it had issues that meant the whole thing needed taking out rather than just doing a regen.

Another garage is now telling me that the DPF pressure pipe needs replacing. However they want to take the whole DPF out and clean it, costing me £500 total. Even tho the previous garage has already done it recently. I guess because they don’t have a record of it.

So anyway, I can phone the original garage and ask them to change it. But has anyone had experience in replacing a DPF pressure pipe? Is it do-able by me, not a mechanic, but reasonably handy and with experience of fixing issues with most of my vehicles over the years?

Hi,

From what you have said about your skills why not have a look at you vehicle and see if you want to try diy.

You may be enquiring about the dpf differential pressure hoses , if you are just look to see if one or both are in poor condition.
