Technical how easy to change steering rack

Hi All

Our 2006 Grande Punto has a knock, been getting worse, from the NSF. Its the steering rack lots of play where the track rod enters the rack. How easy is it to change the rack?.

Undo steering column inside car, bolts that hold on rack to sub frame, track rod ends. Do I need to undo gearbox steady bar and move the gearbox out of way, anything else?
