Hi everyone, i am looking to upgrade the wiring in the panda selecta. I have bought some in line fuse holders but i dont know how to fit them, and what else i need . So can anybody please help me?

I am also looking for some H4 bulbs that will give me the best spread of light and definition, and hopefully be as close to daylight as possible :). What sort of bulb does everybody suggest? :)

Ring Ultra Xenon 60/55, they about £15 a pair, I have had them on all my Fiats since the seicento and they are a great improvement over the candle power normal bulbs.

Was going to fit them to the panda, but they wont fit :( - I have found some adaptor plates though, so may still get around to fitting them.

Not really sure of the panda bulb type, R2 possibly (golf ball) to H4 . I still need to confirm if they will fit or I have got it all wrong

I did a search on the net a few days ago, I wrote the link down somehwere I will go and find it. I think they where only £15-ish - maybe a little on the expensive side but they allow you to fit a wider range of bulbs.

I know that a person on ebay does better golf ball bulbs

Ok I have found the website, please excuse me if all this is wrong but this is what I am lead to believe. I searched for R2 bulbs and that lead me onto P45T bulbs - They look the same shape bottom as R2

Bulb Adapter P45T/P43T
The more modern H4 type headlamp bulbs are available in a much greater range of types than our old tungsten bulbs.

Found on http://2cvstuff.com/2CV_Lamps.html

Im not sure if they are 2CV specific or not

I really am shooting in the dark here

Well i have been looking at bulbs, and the Philips vision plus looked good, until i saw the Philips GT150, as its the same bulb but with a blue cap (y). Another bulb i have seen is the Philips Diamond Vision 5000K which looks identical to an HID bulb. All i need now is someone to help me with choices?, and how to beef up the wiring :)
