how do u de-lock

just ben lookin at martins car on the BOO site, how do u delock the handles? as they've got a rubbery property, just fibre glass and paint them???

i was going to paint them initally but theyve got little delves n scrapes on mine,

any help would be much appreciated, as it just gives theives that little less nerve to try n break in

I HATE LOCK POPPERS!! plus it looks better n'all

they are the rear door handles off a fiat marea.
if you ask Si he has writen a how to do this, so you can follow how its done.
