One thing which really bugged me about the Bravo when I first got it was the standard stereo turning itself down when the car slows down. I'm getting used to it, but it's annoying in traffic. As it's the quietest car I've owned to date, I can't frankly see the point.

Does anyone know how to turn off this function. The manual's useless (only showing what I guess were the mark 1 stereos) and the guy at the dealership who had had the car for 5 months as a company car before I got it didn't have a clue either.

I've got a mark 2 HLX spec car.

Please help!

Just a setting...

Hi,

just have a look at the manual of your radio. I've thrown it out months ago but i can remember that if you enter the setup menu there is a point where you can activate or deactivate the volume change in relation to the speed.

Before

I'm not sure where exactly but I've seen these instructions before on this forum....you'll have to look back over the pages to find it...sorry I can't help more.

Setting Volume Control

Press the EXP button for 5 seconds until >>EXPERT>SCVOL>SCVOL--

cheers!

Thanks, mate! It worked. Mine was on 34. Now I can annoy everyone with my loud music in traffic!
