I must have found it by fate.... Fiat Seicento Sporting Abarth owner with dodgy gear change! Any help appreciated. I'm half Italian and love Fiat's, Alfa's, Lancia's and all the expensive ones

I found you through Google after my wife's 1.6 16 valve Marea developed fuel injector problems, mis-firing, the injector warning lamp coming on, etc. One more hiccup in it's life and I thought that the best people to consult about Fiat problems are Fiat owners.
The latest problem is that the camshaft belt tensioner pulley bearing has collapsed, shifting the valve timing so that now the valves hit the pistons.
We are Fiat "regulars" as I have bought a Punto for my daughter to help her pass her test.
This is the first forum I have joined and I do not know how to use it properly. Up until now I have just been looking through messages to find what I want.
Are there any instructions or guidance that I can refer to?
