Shabash! has finally gone in for the repair to her rear bumper so I'm back in the hire car again. Now the hire company say that "you will be provided with a car equivelent to the one that is in for repair".

If that's the case how on earth do they consider that a 155HGT is comparable to a poxy 1.2 Corsa?!?!

Serious blue wordage is going to be happening when I call them about this later!

One glaring problem. 1 has 20V and is gorgeous and the other is a gutless piece of shite that moves 5 feet sideways if someone breathes on it!

Same happened to me. I have 1.8 hlx, went in for a new bumper.

Rental company said expect a 1 litre corsa or micra. I got outside to find a massive great lump of a Vauxhall people carrier. I'm only 5ft, boy did I Struggle.

They gave me a 1.0 bog standard Ford Ka when I did loads of front end damge to mine. Needless to say, I did not do much driving for those 2 weeks

ford ka's are great fun, my friend had one as whilst his rover coupe was having a new diff fitted and we managed to 180 it in the middle of the road, i swear we weren't even pushing it that hard! lol

when i hit a micra up the arse i was given a micra as a courtsey car, i asked if they were taking the ****.
after 3 weeks they gave me a corsa that was shagged (well it was when it went back lol)
