I've had my Brava JTD 105 for a week - it has just gone back to the dealer 'cos the clutch went.

My question is this - the dashboard has a few glitches - the brake fluid light flickers even though the brake fluid level is fine, and the fuel and temperature gauges either don't work and need a gentle tap, or they fly to the top and reset after stopping the engine.

Is this potentially bad, I just think it is liveable, as it is genuine Italian quirkiness.

BTW I went out for a daytrip last weekend - 430 miles on 3/4 of a tank of diesel - not bad eh?

The brake fluid light could possibly be the brake pad low warning light as they have sensors or its earthing somewhere. The sensor is on the passenger side front wheel.

Also double check the fluid.

As for the dash board there is a fix on here, Sven has a write up how to solve it, personally i think its loose wiring at the back of the dashboard.
