Technical Hot/Cold heater control cable 2007 X250 2.3 130 MJ I can't find any diagrams and have a stuck switch

I have a 2007 2.3 130MJ , the heater switch will only dial towards the heat side and jams n will not return to cold, I took the face off the controls, lubed the cable, and manually allowed the cogs to pass the cam back to the cold position (its 38 degrees c here so no need hot right now) but it feels like the cable or the flap at the matrix end is stuck

I cannot find a diagram or video or any advice online eas to where the cable even attaches or tips or tricks PLEASE HELP
