Hi!
I am lucky to own a 1969 Fiat 500F. It is the first classic car I have ever owned, and I am a complete novice!
The horn on my beautiful car has stopped working. I have done some fault finding - checked the fuse, removed the horn button and confirmed wiring and contact all looks fine. Then I traced that sneaky black and yellow wire all the way to the horn itself. Here I found cracked casing and exposed wire where the wire meets the horn. Wrapping some electrical tape around the wire didn't fix the problem.
I think I need to cut the wire and splice in an extension.... but, how do I know what gauge to use? I've been hunting through manuals and wiring diagrams, but don't really know what I am looking at.
Thank you for your advice.
