your comparing a hatchback with an estate :nutter: put that engine in a punto and it would do 0-60 in about 9.5 seconds

Cylinders:4
0-60 mph:10.6 s

Bearing in mind this was brought out in 1995 compared to the citroen in 1992. Still less.

this is a better comparision (sp)....

Fiat Bravo 1.9 TD SX
Engine Size: 1910 cc
Cylinders: 4
0-60 mph: 10.5 s
Power Output: 100 bhp
Valves: 8
Torque: 200 Nm
Torque: 148 lb/ft
Top Speed: 113 mph

ZX Volcane TD 1905
Engine Size: 1905 cc
Cylinders: 4
0-60 mph: 10.5 s
Power Output: 90 bhp
Valves: 8
Torque: 148 lb/ft
Top Speed: 114 mph

edit - and the bravo does 44mpg against the ZXs 42, and the bravo is only an insurance group 8 (the ZX is a group 10) (y)

yeah okay, we'll call it quits at your citroen being as fast as a skip.

Pot calling kettle black

your marea isnt moving...neither does a skip, therefore your'e car is as quick as one as well

correction, it does move can get about 30mph in 5th before you get problems if your gental!

ahh well skippy the famous chrity skip car with the 1.3 metro engine and mini running gear can do 70mph no probs all day and has been all over the place, so technically that is quicker :p

OOh a ZX, my Dad had one for a few years, said it was the best car he's ever had (he owns a Stilo now ;) ). It was an N/A diesel, but because it was so light, it was still decent performance wise. Never had any problems, except for one leaking brake cylinder. They come with 4 wheel steering too, so handling is good. In general, much better than the closely related Pug 306. Go for it!
