Had the battery tested, earths checked,alternator etc... still wont start, battery is fine as everything electrical works fine... any ideas? its done 110k on a N-plate. 3dr Bravo 1.8 HLX!

try and bump start it, if the wheels lock, your timing belt has snapped, at least four valves have bent, your starter motor and crankshaft pulley might be shot too, check timing belt under the cover, hopefully not unlucky, cos it'll cost the cars value to repair

DO NOT BUMP START IT!!!
Check your manual - you will find that you should not bump start a car that has a Catalytic convertor. The process sends unburnt fuel into the exhaust which damages the cat.
If it wont start with jump leads get a mechanic on it.

fine dont bump start it, put it gear, with ignition off and see if you and a pal can push it through the jerk, if it doesnt shift then you know, (bet you've already tryed bump starting it though)
