HLX front bumper needed

does anyone have a HLX front bumper for sale, preferably black??? Ive got a 1.4S on an `S` plate and it came with horrible black plastic front and rear bumpers.

yeah i could get it sprayed up but the HLX has the fog lamps in it. the bumper on my bravo is just plain and plasticky. what do you reckon a bodyshop would charge me for spraying it?? ta

I'd prob say about £80 - £120 for both bumpers to be rubbed down, primed and colour coded, plus the removal and fitting of the bumper. Depends on the bodyshop. You can get it cheaper if the guy doing it does it as a foreigner, like on the weekend or something.

My rear bumper has just been done and would have cost me @£500 including the cost of the parts if it hadn't been on the insurance of the tosser who hit me. Take out the parts and it's around £300 but remember that these insurance approved places charge the earth as it's all on the insurance.

Seem to remember some people saying that a bumper would be about £100 - £150 to spray up. Just drill the holes for the fogs and get some aftermarkets to fit.

If it's as cheap as Joske says I may get my front one done as well! Want to cut some of those elements out of the front so it's easier to clean. HGT bumper is an absolte bitch cos of all the box sections.

Shame I need to buy a house though.

just looked at pics of the hlx bumper and the fogs seem to be recessed in order to point straight ahead. if i was to drill holes in mine and fit the aftermarket lamps wouldnt they point out at an angle?? what bravo you got? im new to bravo`s and i love mine!

You are prob right on the drilling. Best to try and get Paul R's bumper if you can.

I do indeed have a bravo HLX bumper for sale, i have sold it but i havent heard anything back from the bloke in a while so i might be selling it again...the paint finish isnt that great to be honest, i was going to respray it for anyone who wanted it, i have the fog light holes and the headlight washer jets! BUT no fogs....

If my sale falls through i want £40 for the bumper and if you want it resprayed then that would cost £50.....The spray job would be top notch as i work at a 'approved insurance bodyshop' and i would get one of the proffessional sprayers to do it on the quiet!!!

Oh, its black at the moment, so it may be cheaper to respray it in black again!
