Hills make the temperature rise!

Hi all, pleased I found you. I love my 1.2 Panda but recently as I give it some beans going up hills the temperature gauge starts to rise, as high as three quarters. The fan kicks in and it settles as soon as I'm over the hills but wonder if I have the start of a faulty thermostat? Plenty of oil and water and regularly serviced. Many thanks Dorset Micky.

Does it have aircon?

TBH, most thermostats do the opposite.. Seal struggles and it runs cool


Worth making sure brakes are not dragging I suppose.. Just feel the temps of the wheel bolts after a run

Old partly clogged radiator or dirty fins (matron). Is the coolant nice and clean or more like gravy?
