Hi,
I am new to the forum and cannot find the threads regarding Hill Hold fault.
I have a 2013 Ducato Motorhome and after about 250 miles am getting the 'hill hold inoperative' and ESP warning. At this point I get one large hesitation [misfire] and the warning light illuminates. If I switch the engine off and on again the light goes out but once I apply heavy throttle [e.g. overtake] I get the same fault. Not too good when you require the power!!. It appears to reset completely if the vehicle is left overnight and is ok for another couple of hundred miles.
One thing I noticed, which may be a coincidence, is that the fault first has always occurred when using the cruise control.
Can anyone please help or direct me to the correct thread? Thanks

Hi
I am new to this Forum. I looked on this site earlier today for some ideas.
I own a Fiat Bravo 1400 Turbo its 09 plate with 80.000 on the clock.
Now looking a bit tired so I bit the bullet and changed both rear brake callipers and pads after it flagged up on my MOT.
I removed all the wheels changed the brakes, cleaned and coppersliped every thread and assembled it. I then bleed the system. I thought all was ok till I started it up then I saw the Hill Hold warning light.
I did not think I had done anything wrong but like you do I removed all the wheels checked all sensor cables. After I had read some of your threads I decided to wait till 10PM when the roads were quiet I turned on the ignition the warning light was still on. I had checked the brakes before leaving my Drive they were good, as soon as I left the Drive the alarm went out and I carried on with my test drive.
So thank you to all of you that added to this thread. I was thinking of having the car towed into the nearest Fiat garage.

Run a scan on it. I had something similar and it was the throttle sensor stuffed - fly by wire throttle. New one and all good.
