Ever since a particularly challenging hill start the HILL ASSIST light comes on when I turn the ignition on. If I turn the ignition off and then on again within about 30seconds it doesn't come on. The motorhome drives fine either way. It sailed through its MOT and service has new rear brakes. Still happens.

Anyone else had this? Any ideas?

TIA

I year ago had the hill assist message come on in my 2021 X2/90. Which is a surprise as I've had it from new and as far as I know that feature has never been fitted. Its not on the spec sheet or invoice so its not been charged for. But then it has a converters socket that his not on the invoice and hasn't been charged for. And it doesn't have a chrome grill that is on the invoice and has been charged for. I didn't complain because I don't want a chrome grille and did want the converters socket. I have never seen that message before or since, and it remains a mystery. But everything works fine so I guess its nothing to worry about.
