Technical High coolant temperature warning

Ok so I have seen this is a known fault and needs a software update, but where and how do I get it done?

Have you read fault codes? When it happens it indeed may be the ect sensor fault but most probably the thermostat is stuck closed and whole thermostat housing should be changed. Otherwise expect head gasket failure. Is cooling system working properly?
