Panda HI

I have a car radio installed - it does not look like a factory one. I now need to install another one that has bluetooth built in - has anyone got the dimensions of the slot that the car radio fits in?

Looks to me like the OEM radio for a 2008 1.1 Active.

I'd have thought the sizing would be a standard single DIN, so a similarly sized replacement should be trivial.

Alternatively a double DIN fascia conversion kit would allow the fitting of a double DIN unit, giving you plenty of scope.

OEM radios are switched off and on via a network signal

A third party radio will not just drop in and work

You either need a CANBUS converter box thingy or patch in an ignition controlled live wire

If you post in the I.C.E. Section you should get some help as people have gone down these route before you

You can also get a Bluetooth audio transmitter that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and transmits from your phone to a spare radio channel on any radio
