General Hi ..Newbie here hopefully a ulysse owner soon Advice needed ..lol

Hi

I have just been to look at a fiat ulysse, Hopefully it will make a cracking MPV for the familyl , I have a few question to ask with your wealth of experiance ,

1) What is a w reg ulysse 2.0 s jtd worth
2)There is a light o the dash board that look like engine management light its orangey , yellow with a K on it ??... the garage owner ran it through his RAC code scanner thingy and it could not trace a code or fault
3)the fan inside did not work ... big problem ??
4)rear wiper did not work ..again is that an expensive problem ??



The car above was advertised in my price range ... its a W plate with 108000 miles a small dent in the wing ... but overall clean and tidy inside


...

Just need to no if its worth a risk in buying or should my search continue ..lol

With regard to points 1 & 4 :

1arkers show the following info:

2000/W 2.0 JTD S 90,000 miles
Dealer: £1500.00
Private Good: £1245.00
Private Poor: £995.00


4: My rear wiper failed recently. Dealer quote £123 + vat, Scrapyard quotes £30 - £40. Managed to get one from a great chap on the forum for £25.00 delivered.

Really wouln't want to advise on point 2 - depends on price offered and money available if it doesprove to be a problem with engine management.

What I would say is, I'v had my 1998 S please 2.0 EL for less than a year and definately one of the best, most practical and pleasureable cars I've owned.
