Hi, new punto driver having problem! : (

I just bought my MK3 punto and Ive been driving it today but at times when I put the key in the ignition it wont even let me turn the key to start the car??? No lights come on or any sign of life. Its been fine all day but has this tendancy and I wasnt sure if it was to do with the immobiliser? PLEASE HELP!!

Yes. I put the car in the ignition, go to turn it but it wont let me : (

I mean I put the key in the ignition, but it wont let me turn it to start the engine or even just so the electrics come on

try wiggling the steering wheel left and right as you turn the key....


if not the ignition lock is dead and will need replacing

Oooh thanks for the advice! Any idea's how much it would cost to replace the ignition lock?
