hello guys need little advice from u guys. my friend has a problem with his 1.4 fiat punto 2007 diesel its a manual. he has a little bit of a soft peddal when u try to put in gear it grinds mainly on revese probaly more noisey as its on spur gear (strait cut). now i have been looking for hydrolic fluid resivour for condition of fluid and i cant find it all i can find isthe brake fluid is the clutch fluid shared with this. also the slave cylinder looks as if its plastic and the bleed niple is moulded or is this me being dence and it will undo. all i can see is a valve from bulk head followed by pipes and hoses in to the slave cylinder. in between piping for fluid in corner of bonnet is a box can u tell me what this is. there is no leaks from system from what i can see so it may be case adusting peddle but unless locking nut has come lose cant see peddle would moved.
all im asking is where does clutch fluid go but if u have any other idears or oppinuns on issue be nice to no them as well many thanks
