I have a uno turbo mk 2, I am from South Africa,well it's my third UNO turbo since 1993 so you can say I am somewhat addicted,because UNO turbos were produced here Untill 1996 I drove two of my UNOs straight of the showroom floor.my latest one is a 1993 model stock standard in good Knick other than worn out shocks and a few wear n tear usuals,like leaking distributor oil seal etc,nothing some tlc won't fix.I also have restored a 1989 Lancia thema turbo which is my daily commute.

My first project however is to fit an aircondtioner.there are universal aftermarket blowers available,only thing is to bolt a compressor and set up a drive for the compressor from the engine,the rest is straight forward..any ideas? Anyone done this before?

Hello, and welcome,
sounds as if you know your way around the Uno pretty well,
I always liked my smaller FIRE ones..,

ask in the Technical section about mounting the compressor,
somebody will have done it, ( no great need in the UK though>!)

a few knowledgeable people in the Uno section too.,
