Just bought a Barchetta -96. It seems like the engine doesn't reach normal temperature, so I guess I had better install a new thermostat. But just to be sure it isn't the sensor for the temperature-gauge, I would like to check it up. But where is i located? Found the one on the thermostat-housing, but that seems to be only for the electronic fuel-system, because when I disconnected it the gauge still worked....
Second question: how do I know weather there is a problem with the variator or if the ticking from the engine is because of the hydraulic tappets?
