I changed my fuel filter 2 weeks ago no leaks drives perfect done about 40 miles and various start ups on drive....but have noticed a very very slight misting appear on top push in connector appering on the green top bit where it connects,I noticed both the black flanges has been broken not by me.. in the past don't think makes alot of difference to the joining of it.How much presure is produced at the filter? will it settle down as its been messed with ..and can you buy just the black angle push in ends?? seem to just push into black rubber hoses not even clipped in ?? any advice would be great.. off on long trip this july so want it as reliable as possible..hope im worrying about nothing ..oh pics taken while it was running..Thanks.

My 2006 x244 has an almost identical filter, an all black "green" filter. From memory all connecting hose are black nylon, or other plastic,
I have not seen pipe end fittings offered for sale. Also they could be difficult to fit, if pipes are made from nylon.
From Fiat eLearn electric intank fuel pump relief valve operates at 5 Bar, roughly 70psi.

Ok yes can't see anything online to replace ..must be fun if they were ever to break..like i said not not leaking as such just noticed a little misting if it was a bad seal would really let go.

Aaaah the dreaded Ufi filter , later vehicles have [ on some models] a different assembly , its pot luck what Seval have to hand as your vehicle as it goes down the production line ...!!!!!!!!

The failure of the so called "green" filter has been ascribed to not using the correct tool and torque setting when replacing the element.
I for one would be interested to know of any conflicting experience.
