HGT on 18's

Can you guys please let me know if it is possibe to fit 18's on my HGT.
Also i will soon be turbo charging it, so would 18's be a sound idea?

Nooooo, well not exactly

I looked into this, as i was getting bored of seeing other people with 17's same as me.

Its possible but some arch will need to be done.

How much are you getting the turbo done for ?

i looked into it too, after seein a bravo for sale wiv 18's on, but i don't think i could od it now as i would need my body kit to be moddded aswell as the arches,

and i also got prices for a turbo,

3500 for a turbo kit for the 1.6 16v

and they'd do the engine swap too!

they also do brakes and suspension, which i am getting,

300mm discs, 4 pot calipers, and adjustable (all round, not like Koni's where i was told oyu have to take the rears off the car to adjust them!) damping suspension,

i was gonna do the Turbo thing, but i couldn't afford the insurance being 19!

so instead i'm gettin a Ferrari F50 vent cut in and some decent ICE.

Brakes & Suspension

Allan,

How much is the brake and suspension costing you ?

Does the 1.6 have rear discs or drums ? and if they are drums are they converting them to discs

The vent is supposed to be £82 quid, but i managed to blag one for £55!, i think quoted about £300 to cut it in, buti am havin my bumpers resprayed and other bits at the same time, i'll post some pics asap.


the brakes and suspension was £1200 all together, bit pricey i know, but somethings have to be done!

oh and its drums on the back, i asked about puttin the tarox drilled and grooved discs i have on the front at the moment on the back, but he said it would be easier to find a scrapped HGT and get the rear axles off that, so i'm leavin them as drums until i can find a scrapped HGT

Im getting the turbo for about 2.5k
Then i have a mad task of finding someone decent to put it all together
Any ideas guys?
Unless i go for a coupe turbo transplant?
