Styling hgt gearknob

hey guys have just bought a hgt gear knob for ma 1.2 8v as i think it is nicer and had that instead of sporting because of number of gears. but thought just came to me that it might not work as the gearknob is long were as the standard was a ball.
is the gearknob not suitable for lift up reverse
so basically do any of you know if this will fit ok or not??

I don't think it will because of the lift up reverse like you say. If the ball part is seperate from the lift up bit you could get it to fit, but then it will be higher up.

How will you reverse? its not a motorbike

its just a plastic block that hits another block to stop the leaver going across just take it off so that it will move without coliding
