I think is much better taking up Mark offer. They are much closer and easier to arrange and as they said it doesn't take long .

aye i swapped my hg myself in 1 hour ish. but if the head needs skimming then you have to take it longer. for one shout it would take more than 2 hours to take it to the place. skim it and get it back to the car... unless there are machine shops really local to you

Well the car is in McDuff but I am sure we could get it into Aberdeen without much hassle. There is wallace performance in town here that can do it and I am sure there will be others too.

So who can do this? When? and how much do you want all in?

probably better togo for the closest... i mean its a days work and id do it but not for free. not on a day off lol. ill let the other guys do it and ill relax. offer stands if they back out but will give them practice

Not expecting it to be free, he wants it done as soon as possible so he is willing to pay someone to do it

Just needs it done pretty quickly and as cheap as possible

lol. well for me (and its easily beatable.) but its £50ish for the entire work doing and then just parts and petrol... not mega cheap for me atm as i really need cash.. would cost about 120 getting me there and job done then parts


as i said im sure others can do it cheaper but thats if they take the challenge

OK, looks like it will be next weekend before anything gets done at least this gives us time to get the shopping list!

So what does he need?

Head gasket kit
Timing belt
Sump
Coolant
Engine flush of some kind?

Clock - next weekend? £120
Abyss - next weekend? price?
jatkinson - next weekend mars bars (serious price needed)

get a water pump as well and engine oil. Serious mate it will cost us a bit for petrol money. Abyss and MArk are your best bet! MEssage them .

yep it will cost more in fuel to get me up , but id help for petrol covered , and a little bit of money , but as ming said mark andd abyss are your best shot due to them being closer .
