Thought i'd pop in to say hi.
i just got a 54 1.6 stilo active sport today as my first car and i'm chuffed
i had to get the 3dr version because i thought the 5 dr one looks too much like a mams car imo.
although i can't drive it yet because it needs tax, so i have to wait till the insurance documents come, and they'll be here the day after boxing day at the earliest
i'm sure i'll start spending all my time on here now as i always do with forums i have something in common with.
i'll make another thread sometime to show you guys my last winters project motorbike.

christmas is doing my head in! the car isn't in my name and was a newly repaired cad d when i got it (new drivers side door and airbag) so i need to get it registered in my name at the dvla... also tax. for that i need my insurance documents, which won't be here till tuesday at teh earliest. can you imagine anything more frustrating? :bang:

it's just sitting there, taunting me.

Thats how the system works unfortunatly. Compleatly mucks it up for the honest ones who try to do it properly.

We've got the same problem in a weeks time. Tax runs out at end of Dec, and we're still waiting for V5 to come back to be able to tax it :bang:
