I've just put down the deposit on a Fiat Qubo and will pick it up on 1st July.
Super excited to go camping with my two blind cats, around the North East and into Scotland.
I bought the Qubo as I needed a car which would hold a roof tent and good storage.
So here is to new adventures in Stanley!

Hi and welcome:)
Hope you, Stanley and the cats enjoy your trip:)

Our two cats (ex-strays, now just part-time strays lol) love getting in the Panda for a good nap whenever they can.

Not taken them camping yet. We camped a few nights in the Panda. Cosy. Qubo looks like the perfect camping size.

Hi!!

Yes cant wait. I'm just about to retire from teaching overseas and looking forward to a simpler way of life, back to nature with my two cats and Stan the Van!
I live around 90mins from the South of Scotland so a perfect place to explore Scotland and Northumberland.
I've spent a lot of time researching all those smaller SUV/Van cars and the Qubo met all the criteria I was looking for.
I've never had a diesel though...
The new pandas look amazing...
Thank you for your welcome and have a great evening!

MultiJet 1.3, Qubo section is a bit quiet, but plenty of threads in Punto and Panda sections, including this rebuild thread: https://www.fiatforum.com/threads/2009-multijet-engine-out-cam-chain-repair.497454/

Like all modern diesels it needs longish quickish runs to get hot so EGR can do its thing.

Like all chain cam engines, it needs regular oil changes, and chain should be good for 100k+ miles.

Make sure oil changes haven't been scrimped on, chain tensioner isn't too noisy, and that coolant isn't sludgy.
