I have a Fiat Punto 60 sx W reg, have owned ot for 4 mths now. Now out of warrenty.

Having worked in the car trade prv I thought the fiats are generally a reliable car especially since the puntos and brava's were intorduced.

The car though has been a nightmare, recently it has stopped and when turned back on, the fuel gage reads empty, the temp lights is on, the power steering light is on and remains on and also the engine management light reamins on, sometime the car will start, other times it wont.

When fixed the first time the garage said loose cables, and i took them at face value, but when it has rained heavily the same thing has happened, obviously the garage wont nothing more to do with it as out of warrenty, so i was wondering if anyone had encoutered such problems and if any solutions where out there.

I have had no problems with mine.
About a year ago i had trouble with starting the car but i purchased a new battery and it was fine.
Try going back to the garage. If the problem has reoccoured they obviously havnt fixed it properly.
Have a look at the service history if you have it and see if the problems happened before. My dad did this with his astra when the head cracked and it had happened before so vauxhall had to fit a new one for free.
