hi would anyone know how to replace tappets on a brava 1.6? and how much it might cost at a garage? thanks darren

Haynes manual. Why do you need them replacing?

hi ive been told by a garage that the self adjusting tappets have worn out.but im not sure if its right or not.is it quite an easy job to do? and if not how much is it roughly? thanks darren

its not too bad worst part is getting off the inlet manifold above it other than that its pretty much plain sailing.


if your nice to me i might even dig out some pics from my engine rebuild if u need them.

hi that would help thanks but im not mechanically minded and wouldnt have a clue where to start.would you know of anyone in the beds area that could do it on the cheap? thanks darren
