HELP

ok so its not fiat but a mate of mine has a vectra 1.8 on a p plate. now the problem is that if he comes up to a junction or something meaning he has to stop the car keeps dying. what could be the cause? each time it happens he can start the car first time not a problem and get back on his way.

on pullng up all the revs drop away then it stalls. no other problems apparent and it as only started since having a new gear box fitted.

any ideas appreciated

Check there are no loose plugs in the engine bay, my guess would be something is not connected.

Common problem on the Vectra. Usually the MAF sensor.
