any idea how to get the bonnet of my bravo open with out damaging it
 
I dont mean to be patronising but how about pulling the bonnet release lever just under the dash, just to the left of the steering wheel.

Have you tried getting someone to pull up on the bonnet from under the grill while releasing the catch. I have had that on one or two Bravo/a where the catch was incorrectly adjusted.

Alas, if not its a jack the front of the car up, put it on axle stands then crawl under and reach up as far as you can to "trip" the mechanism. It will be grotty and you will get covered in shite!

The opposite to Nige's reply, if it doesn't work, is to get someone to PRESS on the front of the bonnet while you pull the catch in case it is too tight.

Another solution may be to get someone to push down on the bonnet while you pull the bonnet release, as it might be too tight to release normally.
